Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Isabella Alderete is a flamenco dancer who began her study of flamenco at age 5 at the Conservatory of Flamenco Arts under the instruction of Eva Encinias-Sandoval. Through the National Institute of Flamenco, Alderete has continued her study and training of the artform throughout her life, leading her to the unique flamenco degree program at the University of New Mexico, where she recently graduated from in May 2024. In the process of receiving her bachelor's degree in dance, she intensively studied technique, choreography, and pedagogy from world-class flamenco guest artists such as Lidon Patino, Marco Flores, Valeriano Panos, and more, which has ultimately informed her style and fueled her passion for excellence within the artform. Her future aspirations include continuing to build on the wonderful education and training she has gained right at home.
We offer children's classes beginning at age 3. Classes meet twice a week and culminate in a recital at the end of every semester.
Our adult classes are for adults of all ages and skill levels 18 years and up! Classes meet once or twice a week. We offer punch-cards so you can take as many or as few classes as your schedule allows.
